Unity Technical Artist

Office: All geos

What you will have to do:

  • Assembling in-game windows, interfaces and game objects in the Unity engine of different versions on various projects;
  • Search for performance problems and optimization of the graphic component of game projects (minimizing the area and weight of graphic resources, optimizing the slicing and assembly of UI and game objects, minimizing the number of drawcalls, optimizing the performance and weight of animations and effects);
  • Interaction with artists, animators and programmers to work out optimal structural solutions.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience with Unity;
  • Experience in layout of interfaces on Canvas;
  • Experience with TextMeshPro;
  • Setting the interface for dynamic layouting (portrait, landscape) (4:3, 16:9);
  • Experience customizing animations with Animator using BlendTree and StateMachine;
  • Knowledge of import formats and texture settings in the engine. (ETC2 PVRTC ASTC).

Preferably:

  • Experience with Unity 2019.4.X and newer;
  • Experience with Nested Prefabs;
  • Experience with Spine assets;
  • Experience with AssetBundles.

It will be a plus:

  • Experience with version control systems (Git);
  • Experience with task trackers (Jira);
  • Basic programming skills in Unity (C#);
  • Experience in writing and editing shaders;
  • Experience in game development companies;
  • Availability of their own game projects;
  • Availability of higher technical education (including incomplete);
  • Knowledge of English.
