ZiMAD is looking for an experienced Senior Game Designer to join one of the projects. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop core and meta gameplay as well as new features and events for LiveOps;
  • Develop internal economy and improve game monetization;
  • Work with analytics—derive hypotheses based on metrics ;
  • Create and support game design documentation;
  • Cooperate with the development team to reach best results;
  • Monitor competitor apps and search for potentially useful features in games of different genres.

Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of experience as a game designer in a free-to-play project;
  • Experience with a multi-resource economy system. Examples of genres: City builder, Idler, Tycoon, Battler, Tower Defense, RPG, Roguelikes, etc.;
  • Experience with build/character/upgrade customization mechanics is desirable. Examples of genres: RPG, Idler, Strategy, etc.;
  • Experience operating a released game;
  • Experience creating design documentation from scratch;
  • Experience with hybrid monetization;
  • Experience with analytics (building and testing hypotheses);
  • Excellent communication skills (ability to explain to the team what direction must be taken and what result must be achieved);
  • Ability to articulate and communicate ideas in a clear and understandable manner, both verbally and in writing.
