We are looking for a talented QA Engineer to join ZiMAD’s Magic Jigsaw Puzzles team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manually test various game projects, both large and small
  • Perform testing on mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Amazon) and PC (Windows Standalone, Unity Editor)
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of client-server game applications
  • Test game analytics services
  • Test documentation
  • Write test documentation
  • Estimate tasks

Requirements:

  • Solid theoretical foundation in software testing
  • Ability to detect and document inconsistencies and bugs
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to break down complex tasks into simpler components
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with developers and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Responsibility and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to explore new domains

Will be a plus:

  • Experience testing game projects
  • Experience with bug tracking systems
  • Experience working in a SCRUM team
  • Experience with analytics, authentication, in-app purchases, and advertising
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum, as well as DevOps processes
  • Understanding of mobile device specifications
  • Understanding of the nuances of testing across different mobile devices and platforms (iOS, Android)
  • Understanding of client-server application principles
  • Familiarity with: Git, Postman, Charles, Emulators, Logs, Android SDK tools, JSON, HTTP, encryption
